  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons palm sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 coriander roots (or cilantro stems), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 10-12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

 

Instructions:

  • Marinate the Pork:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine coconut milk, oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, palm sugar, minced garlic, chopped coriander roots, and white pepper.
    • Add the thinly sliced pork to the marinade and mix well to ensure the pork is thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  • Prepare the Skewers:

    • Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning during grilling.
    • Thread the marinated pork onto the skewers, making sure to distribute the pieces evenly.

  • Grill the Skewers:

    • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
    • Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has a nice char on the edges.
